Patrick Dunn
President, Director
Pat has been a part of the Franciscan Mystery Players in New Hampshire for the better part of 15 years. First as a young boy watching his older siblings form the first cast, then as teen performing himself (class of '20) in the roles of Jesus and John the Beloved, to his role now as President & Chairman of the Board. In addition to managing the ministry, he works side by side with Madeleine Girard to Direct the students as well. The Mystery Play has been a core part of his life and a guiding light for his faith and spirituality, and he now seeks to enable that opportunity for every teen and volunteer that is involved today. He enjoys working one-on-one with the students helping them put on the perspective of their character, to see Christ through that character's eyes and hear what the LORD wants to tell them in that role.
As he often says in the opening comments at each performance, "Don't let the 'Director' title fool you, this ministry belongs to these young people. We're just here to drive them around and help where they need it."
Pat currently works at Events United & Studio Lab as the Lead Media Producer, and is able to bring his technical knowledge, as well as his experience in the film & entertainment industry, to this ministry to help the students pursue excellence in their theatrical presentation. Additionally, Pat brings nonprofit governance experience from his time serving as the Grand Knight of Notre Dame Council #5163 at Sainte Marie, and as Vice President and Co-founder of the Brothers of Notre Dame- a sister corporation for his council functioning as its charitable giving arm.
