Madeleine Girard

Madeleine has dedicated countless hours to the Franciscan Mystery Players over the years, first as a teen performing in it (class of '20) in the role of Mary, to her role now as Treasurer and Director.

Bringing a wealth of theater experience- from producing and directing to acting- and her own years of participation in this ministry, she skillfully directs students in their performance. Madeleine emphasizes the need for prayerful depiction of the actions taken by each character by her intentionality in working with each individual student. She and Patrick lean on eachother's experience to assist the students in different ways to present this dramatic meditation.

Madeleine graduated Cum Laude from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2024 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. She brings both her accounting expertise and her experience in the entertainment industry- gained through her service as treasurer for the Franciscan University Musical Theatre Troupe and her work as an accountant at the Palace Theatre. She currently works as a 4th grade teacher at St. John Regional School in Concord.
